In-Home Dog Training
Your Dog's Best Behavior Starts Here
Many dog owners invest in doggy daycare or board-and-train programs to teach their dogs obedience commands and good behaviors. While many dogs excel in these settings, transferring those good behaviors to other places outside the training facility can be an entirely different challenge.
During our one-on-one training sessions, we will work from the comfort of your home, training your dog in your house and around your neighborhood, where results really matter!

-
Complete the Client Intake Form and Behavioral Questionnaire on the booking page to give us detailed insights into your dog and your training goals.
This helps me customize our sessions to meet your specific needs, saving you time and money while ensuring effective, personalized training right from the start.
-
After completing the intake form, book your FREE 15-30 minute consultation to share your training concerns and goals. We will create a tentative plan and schedule your first in-person session.
Note: All clients must complete this virtual consultation before scheduling their first private training session.
-
What to Expect:
During our initial session, we'll start with introductions and take time for us (you, your dog, and myself) to get acquainted. I'll observe your dog's behaviors and responses as we interact one-on-one.
We'll discuss essential training principles and methods to effectively communicate with your dog, ensuring consistent progress towards your goals.
I'll work closely with both you and your dog, to teach you new skills and provide guidance as you practice them.
-
Finally, we will discuss a realistic timeline (duration of time/number of training sessions) to achieve your training goals.
Clients will receive:
a. Written reports summarizing each session,
b. A list of topics and training methods discussed, and
c. Detailed homework assignments to practice with your dog between sessions."

Behavior Modification Training
Does your dog have problems with any of the following?
Excessive Barking
Chewing
Reactive behaviors (barking, lunging, or pulling on walks)
Separation Anxiety
Resource Guarding (food, toys, people, etc.)
Nervousness
Fear
These behaviors are often symptoms of much deeper issues that cannot be resolved through basic obedience training alone.
Dealing with behavioral challenges can be physically and emotionally exhausting for both you and your dog. One of the most frustrating aspects is not understanding why your dog is behaving a certain way or how to stop it. However, it is important to remember that every behavior has a reason.
My behavior modification sessions are designed to identify and address the root cause of problem behaviors, and to teach you and your dog how to overcome them together!
Your dog has a behavior issue, now what?
Start by setting up a Comprehensive Behavior Consultation. All consultations take place in the comfort of your home with Faith McCaskey. Behavior modification & management sessions are designed to meet the needs of each dog and household.
